Being drawn to the University of California, Irvine because of her research and writing focus, Jasmin received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law and Society with a minor in Political Science. She went on to graduate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas with her Juris Doctorate. A zealous advocate, Jasmin began advocating as a member of the J Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court and the Clark County Moot Court competition teams. She was awarded Top Finalist in a Client Counseling competition and Community Service Student of the Semester. Jasmin also participated in the Juvenile Justice Clinic as a student attorney. Passing both the California and Nevada state bar on her first try, she is licensed to practice law in both states.
